JEL CEO Authors Another Article for the AAPL Landman Magazine...

Picture
Greg Jessup penned an article for the AAPL Landman Magazine January-February 2016 edition  ( www.landman.org ). The commentary is titled "Ethics in Negotiations & Tile Curative - From a Landman's Perspective". It is based upon Greg's presentation to the Texas Bar Association CLE - Oil, Gas & Minerals Examination Course.   Additionally, he wrote an article for the September-October  2013 edition of the Landman Magazine (www.landman.org) titled "When Does A Client Become A Client?" and is intended to be a thought provoking piece to get the reader, presumably a landman, to weigh whether a formal agreement between a "contractor" and a "client" is required or even necessary in order to establish a confidential business relationship. It discusses his testimony as an expert witness in a recent lawsuit and how he handled this question and several other related inquiries.  These articles may be downloaded (below) as well as Greg's earlier Landman article from 2001, "Hey Dad, What Do You Do For A Living?". http://www.branchsmith.com/ebook/aapl/34913_AAPL/index.html#/1/
